Eclipse AVN-6000 Navigation / DVD System
Buying a new car? Factory navigation option too expensive? Then why not get an Eclipse aftermarket system that has more features is easier to use and is up to half the price of the factory option.
The Eclipse AVN-6000 uses GPS satellite information as well as vehicle speed information from your vehicles factory computer to locate your exact position and speed. With this feature there is no need to worry about losing satellite reception when travelling through intercity tunnels or amongst high rise buildings in the middle of the city, which is often a problem with portable hand held units. The system automatically uses the vehicles speed data and a built in gyrometer to keep you heading in the right direction whilst waiting for GPS reception.
The AVN-6000 is also a DVD/CD player with MP3 playback and can be used with the optional iPC-106 i-Pod connector for full i-Pod control and i-Pod charging whilst displaying all i-Pod information on the 6.5 inch display. There is also a package available with i-Pod connector and reversing camera.
